Open Standards
Deltapath
emphasizes its product being open and strictly SIP, hence
the name "for reals" SIP. Unlike other competing
brands, Deltapath does not have its own proprietary protocol,
all signaling follows strictly the SIP standards. By using
open standards like SIP, our customers will be open to
connect any SIP compatible devices without difficulties,
potentially linking up with any other SIP based PBX or
UC core in the world.
Open
Application Programming Interfaces
Besides
SIP integration, Deltapath has a suite of open application
programming interfaces (APIs) that allows you to integrate
with your favorite business applications such as CRM and
ERP. APIs give customers the flexibility to integrate
their internal business process applications with their
business communications systems. For example, you can
have frSIP® call centre to send call data to your
CRM application enabling you to create customized screen
pop-ups and war board. Your CRM application also allows
your agents to click on a customer's number and have it
dialed out automatically from his/her deskphone. You can
also have your ERP systems to send SMS messages to customers,
suppliers, or employees whenever a specific transaction
happens. Our APIs are available to all customers. We are
continuously expanding our APIs base on field requirements.

Voice
The
Siren™ 7 and Siren™ 14 wideband audio codecs
are Polycom's patented technology adopted in every Deltapath
frSIP® Unified Communication switch.
Siren™
7 provides wideband audio at near-FM radio quality while
consuming only 6.6 KBytes of nominal Ethernet bandwidth,
approximately 40% lower as compared to traditional narrowband
G711U and G711A codecs.
Siren™
14 delivers low-latency near-CD quality 14 kHz super-wideband
audio while consuming only 8.6KBytes of nominal Ethernet
bandwidth and nearly half the bitrate of the alternative
MPEG4 AAC-LD codec. With these wideband codecs, you can
render high frequencies adequately and easily tell the
difference between "m" and "n", "hire"
and "fire", "see" and "fee".
Finally,
Voice over IP can be much better quality than traditional
telephone lines.
Redundancy
Your
business communications platform is a mission critical
business system that requires 99.999% uptime. This is
why Deltapath invests into hardware redundancy technologies
that allows you to cluster 2 units and perform IP address
take over in the event of a system failure.
Each
appliance is built with redundancy in mind. It's state
of the art hardware design has the following redundancy
features built-in.
-
Embedded Linux platform on flash memory allowing the
UC core to continue operations in the event of hard
drives failure
- Front
accessible compact flash for backup and recovery
- 2
hot swappable hard drives with RAID 1 mirroring
- 2
hot swappable redundant power supplies
- Temperature
sensing ventilation fans to keep system temperature
low
- Overheat
protection with automatic shutdown
Each
frSIP clusters comprises 2 units of frSIP appliances.
The cluster may be built locally sharing the same IP address
or placed across 2 geographical locations and form a geographical
cluster.
